Dealing with Stress and Sleep Disorders PDF Print E-mail

Unfortunately life today can be very stressful with just so much happening in our lives. Stress itself is not a bad thing but how we deal with it can have a profound impact upon our lives. Stress can lead to many other ailments a major one of which is sleep disorders.

Now as sleep is the normal renewal function of our bodies and minds then not getting enough of the right sort of sleep can have profound effects on how we function in our daily lives. Simple every day things we do can become real chores to us as we no longer have the stamina to carry them out. Some people have failed to deal to deal with their stress so much so that it now effects their abiltiy to sleep and just leaving the house is very difficult for them.

Sleep disorders are now in some cases associated with obesity and diabeties. Studies have shown that people denied the sleep their bodies need show a rise in their blood sugar levels. Lack of sleep has also in some studies shown to increase the risk of obesity in that the body without the correct slepp it needs will slow down it's metabolism and excess energy is then deposited as fat. It all becomes a vicious circle in that you can't sleep well because you are stressed and your sleeping disorder then causes even more stress.

Therefore I have created dealing with stress and learning how to deal with sleep disorders in a hope that others will benefit from reading my articles so that they are able to harnass the stress in their lives and deal with it appropirately so that they don't then suffer from other problems such as sleep disorders, obesity and diabeties.
